Rusk Bread
Granone biscuits in a 650g pack.
Rusk bread is a traditional product found in various regions of Italy, such as Campania and Calabria. It differs from regular bread in that it is baked twice (thus called “rusk”), which gives it a unique crunchiness. Typically, after the first baking, the bread is left to rest and then baked again at a lower temperature, resulting in a crispy texture both inside and out. This double baking allows the rusks to have a long shelf life, up to 2-3 months.
