Tozzetti crusk bread is a traditional product of Southern Italy, particularly Calabria, also known as “U tozzulu.” Made with simple organic ingredients such as durum wheat flour, natural yeast, water, and salt, they are characterized by double baking, which gives them a crunchy texture and makes them ideal for long-term storage.

Double baking involves a first stage in which the bread is baked until lightly golden, followed by a second stage at a lower temperature, which dries the bread completely, giving it a crunchy and long-lasting texture. They can be enjoyed on their own or with sauces, soups, or salads.
