Description
A larger and more substantial variant of the classic Fusilli of the Campania tradition that in ancient times were produced by hand according to a method handed down from “mother to daughter”. It involved twisting, with a very rapid movement and expert hands, a spaghetti around a knitting needle, the type of skill was very reminiscent of that of the spinners and in fact the term “fusillo” derives from “fuso”, the tool that the spinners used.
Fusilli Giganti are particularly suitable for dishes with strong and decisive flavors or even for recipes that involve “jumping” in the pan.
