The Mezza Zita is a tasty smaller variant of the classic Zita.

In southern Italy the term “Zita” indicates the bride, in fact this format is traditionally associated with weddings as an essential dish at wedding banquets.

Tradition dictates that the Mezza Zita, characterized by a significant thickness and roughness, is broken by hand into irregular pieces, before being placed in the pot for cooking.

The Mezza Zita Tagliata has already been reduced in length for greater practicality of use in the kitchen.

This format can be used in the preparation of baked recipes or dry pasta dishes seasoned with dense and colorful sauces, meat or fish, with vegetables or greens or with tasty cheeses such as pecorino, provolone or caciocavallo.
