Natural Red Datterino
Red Datterino is a variety of tomato with small, elongated berries, a dense and fleshy consistency, and a very sweet and aromatic flavor. A symbolic food of Campania cuisine and the Mediterranean diet, it has become over time a highly appreciated ingredient throughout the world for its taste and versatility.
We grow the plants of our supply chain exclusively in the Piana del Sele, a vast area of Campania famous for its fertile soil, soil and climate conditions and exposure to the sun that are optimal for the growth of many of the area’s gastronomic excellences.
The Datterino tomato is grown mainly in greenhouses, where it is protected from bad weather and parasites. The harvest, done strictly by hand, preserves its integrity. The packaging, in glass, follows very strict conservation standards to guarantee extremely high quality.
