Pasta shapes that evoke small animals from the garden or fields are not uncommon.

The origin of Galletti is not certain but can most likely be traced back to the Ligurian territories.

It is a shape that reproduces Chifferi Rigati by adding a wavy ribbon on the upper part similar to a cockscomb.

Thanks to the double opening and the distinctive ridges, they are able to mix even the most liquid and fleeting sauces, capturing all the seasoning.

Galletti are excellent simply with tomato, but they are also very good with beef or pork or vegetable sauces.
